Opel, Pinterest, and Jebbit Achieve 3x Higher Engagement Rate with Interactive Lookbook

The Challenge

European automobile brand, Opel, sought to increase brand awareness ahead of the launch of the new Opel Corsa in France. Opel was looking to create an interactive solution and accurately portray the unique features of the new Corsa.

The Solution

Pinterest partnered with Jebbit to create the first-ever lookbook in Europe, introducing the new Opel Corsa. After clicking on the standard ad, users are directed to the Pin Extension and provided an overview of the Opel Corsa, followed by a deeper dive of the car’s unique features.

The Results

Opel created a fun, interactive way to portray the features in its newest  Corsa model to consumers in France.

The Jebbit integration enabled Opel to increase their click through rate by 11x and increased their engagement rate by 3x.

Now, Opel can use the data collected to better target advertisements to the interests of consumers in this new market.
